    As Swedish doom metal veterans Candlemass prep to unleash their 12th studio album The Door To Doom on February 22nd, they've been kind enough to give us an early taste of the record in the form of 'Astorlous: The Great Octopus', a crushing riff-heavy track which also features a screeching guest guitar solo from none other than Black Sabbath founder Tony Iommi!

    What makes The Door To Doom so intriguing is that it'll be the first album Candlemass have released with vocalist Johan Längquist in 33 years, after only having previously done a brief stint with the band back in 1986.

    On top of having a dozen albums under their belt, they've also released 16 EP's/singles and 7 compilation albums to boot. Solid catalogue!
