System Of A Down's Serj Tankian joining forces with Dethklok's Brendon Small and Gene Hoglan for the soundtrack of the new Godzilla blockbuster film?
Yeah, that's a real thing; a cover of Blue Öyster Cult's 1997 track 'Godzilla' has been unveiled as part of the official soundtrack for Godzilla: King Of The Monsters which will hit cinemas at the end of May, and it features those three names together alongside a full orchestra to boot.
If you're hoping that the cover sounds anything like Dethklok then you'll probably be a little disappointed, but it's still a pretty sweet anthem to get you hype for some stomping action:
The soundtrack's composer Bear McCreary has also worked on other things such as Battlestar Galactica and The Walking Dead as well.
Godzilla: King Of The Monsters will be the 35th film in the franchise.
