After American deathcore band Lorna Shore dropped one of 2018's heaviest tracks with 'This Is Hell' back in September, we had a feeling that we'd be hearing some pretty destructive material going forward with their new vocalist CJ McCreery (ex-Signs of the Swarm), and we were god damn right; the band have just debuted the second single to feature CJ at the helm. It's called 'Darkest Spawn', and it will absolutely rip a hole in your head upon listening.
The track has everything you would expect from a good deathcore song including thunderous double kicks, murderous blast beats and gutturals that sound like they're from Satan himself! Underlying synths help add a big sense of atmosphere between earth-shattering breakdowns too.
Fans of Thy Art Is Murder, Black Tongue and Crystal Lake will be into this. Check it out:
Lorna Shore's previous vocalist Tom Barber left the band last year to join Chelsea Grin.
