Death metal pioneers Deicide have released their first new material in five years with the incendiary 'Excommunicated', taken from their upcoming twelfth studio album Overtures of Blasphemy out on September 14.
'Excommunicated' shows the band are absolutely not showing any signs of slowing down (both figuratively and musically) after almost 30 years in the game. Guitars squealing in pain? Vocals from Satan himself? Explosive drum work? Check, check and check. If there was a death metal 'Big Four', we'd probably put them in there. Have a listen below!
Overtures of Blasphemy will follow up 2013's In the Minds of Evil and will also be first album to feature Monstrosity guitarist Mark English who replaced Jack Owen in 2016.
