US metalcore band Crown The Empire have treated us to a third new single in the form of 'Sudden Sky' following the release of '20/20' and 'what i am' last year.
The new song has some real bounce to it, with some excellent screams and clean vocals throughout. There are also some really pretty basslines in the middle of the track, which serves as an eye of the storm between heavier sections on either side of it.
There are even some light Northlane vibes peppered in there too - have a listen and see what you think:
The band have finished up recording their fourth studio album, but there isn't any news yet as to when it'll be out. You can probably safely assume that these three singles will make an appearance on there though.
Fun fact - did you know that Post Malone once tried out for the spot of guitarist in this band during 2010? Apparently he didn't make the cut because his string broke during the audition!
Listen to Crown The Empire now.
