It's been a couple of years since Californian deathcore band Carnifex have released any new material, but thankfully our thirst for more evil tunes has been quenched today with the five-piece dropping a new EP titled Bury Me In Blasphemy.
Better yet, the three-track release includes some brutal covers of Slipknot's The Heretic Anthem and Nine Inch Nails' Head Like A Hole, in addition to another grinding original track to boot!
While their cover of The Heretic Anthem doesn't stray too far from the original vibe (even the countdown intro is spared), vocalist Scott Lewis puts a deeper spin on Corey Taylor's vocals for a heavy result. Check out both covers below:
Carnifex formed in 2005 and have released six albums since then, with their last album Slow Death receiving high praise from critics in 2016.
