    It has been almost a decade since Alexisonfire have released any new material, but thankfully that drought is finally over! A few weeks ago we noticed that the band had been teasing some kind of new material, with a Russian post-hardcore blog claiming that there was a new single called 'Familiar Drugs' to be released on February 15, and they were 100% right.

    'Familiar Drugs' is a groovy jam full of dirty riffs, and the glorious contrast between the furious growls from George Pettit and the golden crooning from Dallas Green which we've missed so much is ever-present.

    Have a listen below:

    There's no word on any kind of release that this song will be a part of, but it seems unlikely that they'd record just one song and then piss off into the abyss for another 9 years, so watch this space!
