On this day in 2004, metalcore legends Killswitch Engage released their third album, The End Of Heartache and it’s safe to say that the title track has been a classic in the metal community ever since.
The first LP with new frontman, Howard Jones, won a Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award for Best Album and the song, The End Of Heartache was nominated for Best Metal Performance for the 47th Annual Grammy Awards.

Speaking of Howard Jones, if you're wondering what he's been up to, he released a single called The Blade in March with YouTube’s Jared Dines under the name Soin. The pair had revealed to fans via Instagram they were working together last year and just like The End Of Heartache, has an utterly huge chorus and sweet guitar work from Dines. The Blade a modern metalcore song that old school Killswitch fans will love.
To celebrate the anniversary, Killswitch Engage will be releasing a deluxe version of The End Of Heartache LP featuring two records pressed on solid silver and black vinyl and features bonus tracks, redesigned art and a custom side three-etching by bassist Mike D’Antonio.
