    Can you believe that Linkin Park's debut album Hybrid Theory has turned 17? 

    For many of us MANIACS, Hybrid Theory was part of our introduction to heavy music - one of the stepping stones (along with Linkin Park's hugely popular contemporaries - Korn, and Limp Bizkit) which led us all to heavier, and darker things.

     Hybrid Theory has sold over 30 million units worldwide - a whole number by today's standards - and featured the hits One Step Closer, Crawling, Papercut, and In the End.

    Fun fact: The album cover art was designed by Mike Shinoda, who had previously worked as a graphic designer before becoming a professional musician.
