UK hardcore five-piece Higher Power have debuted another new song from their upcoming sophomore album 27 Miles Underwater, which is due out on January 24 through Roadrunner Records.
The new jam 'Low Season' has some real 90's grunge/rock throwback vibes but keeps a modern hardcore undertone throughout to create something really catchy.
Vocalist Jimmy Wizard says of the track:
“The crazy thing about this song is I wrote the lyrics this exact time last year. We had just got back from tour to winter in England and I was feeling lost, and the weather was not helping me being stuck inside going crazy. This song is just about that dark feeling of hopelessness winter sometimes brings when it feels like you will never see light again.”
