The rollout for the upcoming Meteora 20th Anniversary Edition has Linkin Park looking back rather fondly at the creation of Meteora. Now, thanks to the upload of the refreshed web series LPTV: Meteora Season 1, they're inviting fans to do the same.
Uploaded to the band's YouTube channel over the weekend, LPTV: Meteora Season 1 takes you behind the scenes with Linkin Park in 2002, as they piece together the songs, artwork, videos and live show that will go on to make Meteora a multi-platinum landmark.
Originally released in 2003 via their website, LPTV: Meteora Season 1 features 10 episodes between 5-8 minutes in length, each providing rare insight into the creation of Meteora.
The first episode, The Writing Process, which you can watch below sees the band explaining the writing process for the album, with each member of Linkin Park providing some memorable insights and arguably even more memorable quips.
The remainder of LPTV: Meteora Season 1 is equally fascinating and enjoyable, with the mixture of creativity, emotion, comradarie and humour on display helping to conjure a genuine feeling of intimacy for the viewer.

The highlight of the collection, Lost was unearthed as the band was digging through hard drives for what would become the Meteora 20th Anniversary Edition. It is a complete and mixed, yet forgotten, song from this era.
The band's Mike Shinoda reflects on finding Lost, which features late vocalist Chester Bennington and what it means to be able to share Chester's gift again with the world.
