It's Friday, Friday, got to get your fresh metal fix on Friday. That's right Maniacs it is finally Friday which means it is time to kick off the weekend with some Friday Fire.
With so many new metal releases dropping every week, it can be hard to know what to listen to, so we've taken it upon ourselves to do the heavy lifting, sorting the 'hell yeah' from the 'hell meh' you don't have to. So without fear or favour, here are is our Friday Fire: Five New Tracks We're Feeling This Friday.
Vein.fm - The Killing Womb
This chaotic, relentless and unforgiving offering from Vein.fm (Vein) is lifted off of their upcoming album This World Is Going To Ruin You, and as a result our anticipation for the record just got even more feverish. One of the most exciting bands on the planet got ever more exciting! The Max Moore directed video is an absolute, creepy, must-see, too.
Falling In Reverse - Zombified
Falling In Reverse are back doing what they do best, writing undeniably catchy rock anthems. The horror-themed Zombified is Ronnie Radke and co. in full-flight. The video takes influence from full-on zombie blockbuster films and does a damn good job of bringing that gloriously gory cinematic experience to life.
A Wilhelm Scream - Be One To No One
Punk cult faves A Wilhelm Scream dish up the goods as only they can on Be One To No One. Their first new song in nine years, Be One To No One does everything that you've come to know and love from AWS, combining frantic passages and guitar lead breaks with urgent vocals and sweeping melodies. A defiant anthem of survival from a band who know a thing or two about seeing things through. Welcome back!
Voivod - Paranormalium
Canadian metal vets Voivod are set to release their new album Synhcro Anarchy on February 11th and they've offered up the adventurous new single Paranollium as a taste of what's to come. A progressive metal tune full of bizarre riffs and unexpected twists and turns it is Voivod being Voivod in the most typically unpredictable of ways. Syncro Anarhcy can't arrive quick enough!
Fit For An Autopsy - Two Towers
Fit For An Autopsy will drop their sixth studio-ablum On What The Future Holds on January 14th, and the progressive deathcore mainstays have issued the new single and video Two Towers to tie us over until next week. An explorative song with a deep and profound meaning centred around 'accepting the things that you cannot change', Two Towers is a showcase of everything that Fit For An Autopsy have evolved to become.
