    With Tenacious D's long-awaited fifth studio album Post-Apocalypto ready to blow our minds on November 2, the duo have decided to release their own animated series on YouTube to lead up to its release. Each episode also works one of the new songs from the album into the storyline, which is pretty cool!

    Also titled Post-Apocalypto and animated by Jack Black, the series has already had us in stitches with its first episode 'Hope', and the second offering 'Cave', and now the duo work out a way to go to space. It has a really conversational and improvised tone which is hilarious and could totally make it an Adult Swim show. Check out the episode below, although do be warned that it can get particularly NSFW/graphic, particularly when Jack Black's character decides to have his way with Elon Musk's wife.

    ...yeah, it's worth checking out!
