Metalcore veterans Eighteen Visions have announced a new six-track EP called Inferno, and debuted the heavy opening track 'Sink' which can be heard below.
Inferno will be out on October 2, and is said to be a conceptual release inspired by the Italian poet Dante Alighieri‘s The Divine Comedy: “we wanted a concept that would artistically fit the vibe of the music we were writing. Dark, punishing and hateful.”.
'Sink' is definitely all three of those things, filled with chaotic dissonance and heaps of OG metalcore goodness. Stream it for yourself:
Eighteen Visions formed way back in 1995, initially breaking up in 2007 before reuniting in 2017 to pick up where they left off with a sixth studio album titled XVIII.
