In July last year, DevilDriver frontman Dez Fafara stated that his old band Coal Chamber were never coming back, after they went on indefinite hiatus in 2016. Well, he's (sort of) gone back on his words, because he's announced via Twitter that DevilDriver will be bringing out the nu metal bangers at some select shows throughout 2019.
He's released a number of tweets explaining the decision to play some old Chamber classics:
so yes for the first time ever DevilDriver is playing a bunch of coal chamber songs and when you hear this shit with double kick and two guitars there’s no going back trust that! I waited years & tried to keep em separate but it’s time for me to embrace all that I am as a singer

Well damn, can't wait to see footage of this! DevilDriver have also confirmed that they are currently in the studio to release a double album this year, so Dez is staying a very busy guy.
