    It seems that the planets are aligning in 2019 and we're gonna have ourselves new releases from Tool, Korn, Slipknot and Static-X to name just a few, and now you can chuck Deftones on that list too!

    We already knew that the band were tinkering around in the studio, but there's been little information other than the odd vague social media post. Well, this time we've got another vague social media post but one which confirms that Deftones will be releasing new music next year. Taking to Instagram, they've uploaded a picturesque shot of a Sacramento sunset (their home town), with the hashtags #2019 and #newmusic.

    Deftones were no doubt pretty busy organising their very first festival, Dia De Los Deftones, which ran on November 3 in California and included other acts like Mike Shinoda and Rocket From The Crypt, but probably have a bit more free time to give us the goods now. One thing is for sure - you should all be bloody keen for 2019!
