Australian death merchants Zeolite have today unleashed a brutal and unrelenting new single and video for Indoctrinated. The Melbourne five-piece have evolved with a fresh new lineup and signing to EVP records and are unleashing the new chapter with big energy.
"Indoctrinated is the first part of a three track story that follows the overarching concept of our upcoming album.” says Grant McGuinness. “This concept details the minimal degrees of separation between mainstream religion, cultism, corporate entities and the tactics they use to seduce and control people. This concept is allegorically told across the record with an eldritch twist to make for more exciting story telling.”
The track is a ferocious preview of a full-length that will be announced officially in the coming months. But even though Indoctrinated is the type of song that when once played on daytime radio probably “ruined a few lunches,” according to McGuinness, it’s only an apparent drop in the ocean compared to what’s coming.
“You can expect music much heavier than we have ever explored. More dissonance, More punishing, But probably more melodic too. New lineups always change the dynamics of our band - it is something we have come to embrace.”
With a tour on the horizon, the band have no plans of slowing down and are even already in the studio writing their next release.
