Chino Moreno-led project ††† (Crosses) have officially returned with their first new song in six years, taking on a layered and ethereal cover of Cause & Effect's 1990 electropop tune 'The Beginning Of The End'.
It's the first material from the trio since the release of their debut self-titled album way back in 2014, so you could say it's been quite a while between drinks, but it's definitely great to have them back!
The choice of Cause & Effect as the cover also makes sense given that the band also hailed from Chino's hometown of Sacramento, California, and Moreno is a huge fan of electronic music himself.
While the original ††† lineup consisted of Moreno, guitarist Shawn Lopez and bassist Chuck Doom, only Moreno and Lopez have been confirmed as current permanent members.

The revival of ††† caps off a super-busy year for Chino, after Deftones released their ninth album Ohms to acclaim from critics and fans, along with a 20th anniversary edition of their iconic 2000 record White Pony that featured a fully-remixed tracklisting from artists including Mike Shinoda, Robert Smith and DJ Shadow.
Hopefully this is just the start of more ††† material in 2021!
