  • (Crosses) Appear to be Teasing New Music After Years of Silence

    Following the announcement of new Deftones music being confirmed for next year, another curious little bit of Chino Moreno related news has popped up overnight, with his side project Crosses (stylised as †††) stirring from a two-year slumber on Facebook.

    The band, which also includes ex-Far guitarist Shaun Lopez and Chuck Doom, updated their profile picture to a man wearing a gimp mask and a plain white shirt with the band's logo on it. There's literally no other context for the change right now but it's significant because the last post from the band was on March 22, 2016 while they were in the studio, before they inexplicably went silent.

    Is it new music? It definitely could be given the studio content shared before dropping off, but time will tell.

    Crosses takes on a more darkwave/electronic sound than its members' main bands, with one album from 2014 and two EPs before that under their belt.
