Usually it is hard to support singers-turned-actors and vise versa, but in this case, I think I can make an exception. Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor has announced he has joined the cast of a new feature horror film ’Fear Clinic’ from Dry Chamber LLC.
Written by Robert Hall and Aaron Drane, the film will also feature Robert Englund (who you may know as Freddy Krueger in Nightmare on Elm Street) and Felisha Terrell (Teen Wolf). Fear Clinic is based the horror series on FearNet that was only 5 episodes in length, but one of the most watched horror-series in history.
The film opens with a tragedy that launches five people into the public eye and enlistsDr. Andover(Robert Englund) to lend his expertise to help them overcome trauma-induced phobias. A year later, terrifying “aftershocks” rattle the survivors, leading to them finding their way back to the fear clinic seeking answers. As they line up for another turn in the chamber,Dr. Andoverbelieves that something more sinister may be at work. Taylor will play one of the patients in the clinic.
Expected for a Halloween 2014 release, we certainly cannot wait!
