    Tributes from fans and musicians have been flowing in for the great Eddie Van Halen over the last week, who tragically passed away last week at the age of 65 after losing his five year battle with throat cancer.


    Renowned guitarist John 5 (Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie) and his band The Creatures released their Live Invasion performance back in September 2019, but not everything that was filmed made it to the final release.


    Now, John 5 has released footage from that show of Corey Taylor and Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony jumping on stage to cover Van Halen's iconic cover of The Kinks' 'You Really Got Me' in honour of EVH.

    Corey and John 5 can be heard saying at the start of the clip that they were going in with zero rehearsal, but you'd never be able to tell  - John 5's guitar work is stunning as always, and Corey keeps the energy between the band and crowd at peak levels.
