Let's take you back to a time before Linkin Park, when the late Chester Bennington did vocals for the grunge band Grey Daze.
Releasing two albums (Wake Me in 1994 and ...No Sun Today in 1997), Bennington was a part of the band up until 1998, before leaving to join Hybrid Theory (who would soon change their name to Linkin Park).
Now, the band are back in the studio and looking to re-record some of their older songs with Chester's son Jamie Bennington laying down vocals in place of his late father. Korn members Munky and Head are also contributing to the recordings along with POD's Marcus Curiel.
"Chester would have been so very proud of his Son Jaime Bennington. We had Jaime sing along with his father last night at NRG Recording Studios and his voice is great! Sounds a lot like his father and we were all very proud to be a part of it."
There's no word on when this material will surface officially, but we'll definitely let you know!
