The works of Ludwig van Beethoven are some of the most studied and preserved musical works in history, and the classic Moonlight Sonata has to be one of the most recognisable compositions around.
YouTuber/drummer Kristina Schiano teamed up with fellow shredder Cole Rolland to take the legendary piece (the final part specifically) and turn it into a killer metal cover a couple of months ago, and it's well worth sharing again. Given the absolute task of taking such a complicated song and transferring it to a heavier setting, it's actually done quite tastefully and the performance is as tight as anything. Have a watch:
