    Sydney's metal veterans Resist The Thought have been going for quite some time now, first forming back in 2007 and then initially breaking up in 2013 after releasing a couple of albums and becoming one of the country's most recognised names in heavy music.

    In 2017, original vocalist Rhys Giles put together a new lineup with Macleane Coward, Darcy Reynolds, Matt David and Zak Borg (the latter three coming from a band called Absolution) to resurrect Resist The Thought and start releasing new music.

    And they're really back with a vengeance; having made a statement with their first new song 'Set Me Free' back in Jaanuary, they've got another huge banger called 'Awakened Salvation', the video of which you can watch below:

    We're very excited to see what these guys have in store for us over the coming months!
