With dancefloors closed in several states, it is safe to say that we could do with a little more dancing in our lives right now. Thankfully YouTuber Leo Moracchioli has done us all a solid by uploading a metal cover of a feel-good '80s jam that is very close to all of our hearts here at Maniacs, Michael Sembello's Maniac from the Flashdance soundtrack. Sembello does the dark lords work, teaming up with Circus Maximus drummer Truls Haugen to turn the synth-pop bop into an absolute metal belter that'll have you looking for your best throwback activewear and clearing out the furniture to bust a move in your living room.
If you dig what Moracchioli has done with Maniac and let's be honest, why wouldn't you, then check out what he did with Aussie pop megastar and Neighbours alumni Kylie Minogue's '00s hit Can't Get You Out Of My Head, which is included in our playlist of rock and metal covers of songs by Neighbours alumni that we posted yesterday.
