Bonez Alternative Party, a heavy music club night hosted at Stay Gold in Melbourne, has announced The Queers Are Here! Volume 2 is out today! The compilation is an annual digital collection of songs available exclusively on Bandcamp to raise money for Black Rainbow Australia.
It features Australian Queer artists and bands with this year's volume featuring up and coming heavy acts such as To Octavia, Racerage, Leroy Macqueen, The Last Martyr and more!
Black Rainbow is a national Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer, Sistergirl and Brotherboy (LGBQTI+SB) organisation in the pursuit of positive health and wellbeing for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Lesbian LGBQTI+SB*.
Originally focusing on suicide prevention, the diversity of our leadership group has allowed them to expand their horizons in recent years. They have a current study underway to measure the impacts of the coronavirus on the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTIQSB community.
