In some pretty big news, Swedish death metal royalty Bloodbath have announced they will be headlining the inaugural Southern Slaughter festival in Melbourne and Sydney throughout September!
They will be directly supported by Aussie thrash veterans In Malice's Wake, along with a ton of other brutal and excellent bands on each of the shows.
You can see the full dates, venues and lineups underneath:
Bloodbath formed in 1998 and have since released five albums, their latest being 2018's The Arrow Of Satan Is Drawn. Opeth frontman Mikael Akerfeldt was (for the most part) vocalist for the band up until 2012, until Nick Holmes of Paradise Lost took over vocal duties.
