Prepare yourselves, Maniacs - Polish extreme metallers Behemoth have announced that their brand new album I Loved You At Your Darkest is set for release in Australia on October 5 via EVP Recordings!
"It doesn't get more blasphemous than this" proclaims frontman Nergal. If this truly is Behemoth's most blasphemous work yet, then we are in for an absolute treat.
Oh, and just in case you were wondering about the meaning of the album title, Nergal had this to say:
"It's a verse from the Bible. It's actually a quote from Jesus Christ himself. For Behemoth to use it as the basis of our record, it's sacrilege to the extreme."
The record was produced by Behemoth, with drum co-production by Daniel Bergstrang (Meshuggah, In Flames), mixing by Matt Hyde (Slayer, Children Of Bodom), mastering by Tom Baker (Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson), and a 17-piece Polish orchestra arranged by Jan Stoklosa.
Along with the announcement of I Loved You At Your Darkest, Behemoth have revealed a brand new track (with a a NSFW video to go with it) titled God = Dog. Check it out now!
