New Zealand teenage metal trio Alien Weaponry have announced that they will be hitting up the rest of Australia's capital cities (yes, including Perth) around their performances at this year's Download Festival in Sydney and Melbourne on March 9 and 11 respectively.
Their fiery brand of tribal thrash which is rooted in Maori lore has captured the attention of the metal world at large over the past 12 months, which saw them perform at some massive festivals like Wacken, Summer Breeze and Bloodstock. Not bad for a bunch of guys who haven't even turned 20 yet!
On top of this, RNZ Music have also announced that they're going to be releasing a 10-part web documentary on February 18 via their website, which will be a very interesting look into their three-month European tour last year. You can suss the trailer for that below, then continue scrolling for the full list of Alien Weaponry sideshow dates, venues and supports:
Local bands Copia, Take My Soul and Hidden Intent will open each date, with a Perth support TBA. Tickets are now on sale and they can be purchased at Troubadour Music's website.
