At 92 veteran legend Sir Christopher Lee has just released his latest festive heavy-metal track.
Best known for his role as Saruman in Peter Jackson’s adaptations of Tolkien’s “The Lord of The Rings” and “The Hobbit”. Master of darkness and evil Lee has over the past two years has graced us with his metal prowess. This year, thankfully is no exception.
“Darkest Carols, Faithful Sing”is a playful take on the classic “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.”
“It’s light-hearted, joyful and fun. It’s a band singing on how metal should be played, the effect it has on the band and its listeners.” Christopher Lee.
Interesting fact, Christopher Lee became the oldest heavy metal artist in 2013 when his song “Jingle Hell”reached No. 18 on the Billboard chart.
“At my age, the most important thing for me is to keep active by doing things that I truly enjoy. I do not know how long I am going to be around, so every day is a celebration and I want to share it with my fans,”
